Enterprise System Integration: DC Health Insurance Exchange

Helping to insure that DChealthLink.com’s robust web application delivers a user friendly healthcare marketplace to the District of Columbia’s residents and small business. We are working alongside the program management team within the OCIO to provide seamless interaction between the consumer and the health insurance marketplace, state eligibility systems, the federal and state data hubs, other systems, and Human Services enrollment. The team is tasked with overseeing the system integration vendor, Infosys Releases to make sure their solution delivery responsibilities are met.

System Implementation: DCPS Student Information System

Facilitating the discussion of the District’s Public schools operational needs and translating their vision into system requirements for a successful rollout of the new SIS system. We are documenting the business rules and processes of the current SIS system and gathering requirements for the new system. In the next coming months, we will be leading the testing activities (UAT) and working with the team to make sure the integration of the new SIS system chosen is a success.

Business Process flow mapping: Medicaid’s legacy Automated Client Eligibility Determination System (ACEDS)

We are working with the District of Columbia’s Department of Insurance, Securities, and Banking within the health insurance exchange program. The team is building business process flows for Medicaid as defined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to generate a requirements document that will be used in the procurement of a system integration vendor. The project is in response to changes mandated by the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act
